Diminished ovarian reserve is associated with reduced euploid rates via preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy independently from age: evidence for concomitant reduction in oocyte quality with quantity

چکیده
Objective(s)To determine whether women with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) (quantitatively) had lower rates of euploid blastocysts, as a proxy for oocyte quality.DesignRetrospective cohort study.SettingUniversity reproductive health clinic.Patient(s)A total 1,152 aged 19–42 years underwent 1,675 IVF cycles yielding 8,073 blastocysts biopsy from 2010 to 2019.Interventions(s)Preimplantation genetic testing aneuploidy.Main Outcome Measure(s)Euploid rates, defined the number divided by biopsied per cycle.Result(s)A 225 (20%) DOR infertility diagnosis Bologna criteria. Age was higher among (39.5 y vs. 37.0 y). Euploid were without (29.0% 44.9%). In generalized linear models controlling age, 24% reduced odds blastocyst being versus DOR. secondary analysis assigning status producing lowest quartile age-adjusted mature yield, this relationship remained. No differences identified in live birth between and after single-embryo transfer independently age (n = 944 transfers; 56.8% 54.8%, respectively). Conclusion(s)Blastocysts are less likely be than those adjustment age. Given concomitant reduction quantity oocytes observed study, quantitative assessments (i.e., follicular machinery) may yield insight into relative aging. To quality. Retrospective study. What next for preimplantation genetic screening (PGS)? Experience with blastocyst biopsy and testing for aneuploidy.
Blastocysts more commonly have a normal karyotype than cleavage-stage embryos do. Moreover, blastocysts have also made a metabolic transition from catabolism and recycling of the oocyte's reserves and resources, processes that fuel the first 3 days of cleavage. Although not all blastocysts are karyotypically equal, it is still to be determined to what extent a mosaic karyotype might be a normal...
متن کاملI-32: Management of Diminished Ovarian Reserve
The standard goal of all fertility treatments is the improvement of pregnancy rates in infertile patients. Within the last 20 years, ovulation induction has contributed to the success of assisted reproduction techniques e.g. in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo-transfer (ET). The efficacy of these techniques depends on a personalized protocol of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and ...
متن کاملP-206: Genetic Variations of FSH Receptor Gene in Patients with Premature Ovarian Failure and Diminished Ovarian Reserve Referred to Royan Institute
Background: Immaturity of the ovarian follicles results in an infertility citation called Premature Ovarian Failure (POF), affecting approximately 1% of women under the age of 40. Women with this disorder go through early menopause and have high levels of gonadotropin hormones (FSH & LH). Diminished Ovarian Reserve (DOR) is another infertility disorder in which women’s ovaries have the ability ...
